UC San Diego Health is reimagining how healthcare systems operate by integrating artificial intelligence, automation, and real-time dashboards to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support high reliability. This session shares how our Clinical Quality Improvement and Patient Safety teams partnered with data and technology experts to streamline manual processes—such as quality measure abstraction and CMS reporting—through the use of large language models and smart dashboards. Attendees will gain practical insights into how these tools were implemented, how change was managed across clinical and IT teams, and the measurable outcomes that followed. This is a real-world case study in transforming complexity into clarity, and data into action.
